Based around the TodCast, the print component of the 2009 / 2010 snow campaign features 1 athlete per ad and highlights their signature outerwear. The copy in the ad is minimal and prompts the user to go online to watch the current episode of the TodCast for more information.

We developed the 2009 / 2010 Quiksilver snow campaign around the TodCast, which served as the vehicle for the bulk of the marketing message. The idea was that Todd Richards would act as the microphone for the snow program, adding legitimacy and humor to the content. The campaign was hugely successful with the Travis Rice episode getting over 100,000 views in the first month. I served as co-director and producer for these videos.

I was hired on at Globe as the Sr. Global Art Director. For Globe, all of the marketing messages for the entire world come from the USA headquarters. This meant that I was the person who oversaw all of the art for these messages. I worked with the VP of Global Marketing to create all of the new campaigns. In addition to the global duties, I was also in charge of the look and feel for all of the domestic materials. I have included two campaigns that I pitched as well as the product photography styles that I developed in my time at Globe. I was privileged to work with some amazing studio photographers and took these shoots very seriously. It was a lot of fun to really dig in and get into the still life stuff.
I was hired at Swell to take over as both Art Director and Brand Manager. As Art Director I oversaw that entire catalog creation process and well and the website. As Brand Manager I was responsible for team riders, marketing plans, as consulted on all new initiatives that the company undertook. As Art Director I was in charge of all photo shoots from beginning to end. There were 6 unique catalog produced a year and for each catalog there was a studio shoot with models, a location shoot with models and athletes, and a studio shoot of flat product. It was my job to coordinate all 3 shoots, write the brief for each shoot, and produce / art direct each shoot. I was also responsible for the design and layout of the catalog and website. This was an amazing opportunity to produce an extremely comprehensive project 6 times a year.
